| Product Description |
Staphylococcal Protein A binds strongly and specifically to the Fc region of immunoglobulin molecules, particularly IgG. The product contains five high-affinity binding sites capable of interacting with the Fc region of IgG in humans, rabbits, pigs, and other species. Biotin-Protein A, which is produced by covalently linking biotin to protein A, can be used in immunodetections, such as immunoblotting (western or dot blot), ELISA, and immunohistochemistry.

| Storage |
The reagent can
be stored at 4°C for short-term use, up to one month. For longer storage,
aliquot and store at -20°C, where it will remain stable for at least 1 year
from the date of receipt. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. If slight
precipitation occurs upon prolonged storage, clarify the solution by
centrifugation before use. |

concentrations for specific applications should be determined by titration
assay. The chart below may serve as a useful guideline, but primary antibody,
temperature, incubation time, the amount of antigen, and the sensitivity of the
detection methods can all affect the ideal working concentration. |
