Aberrant epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and migration frequently occur during tumour progression. BML-111, an analogue of lipoxin A, has been implicated in inflammation in cancer research. Methods: 3-(4,5-Dimethyl-2-thiazolyl)-2,5-diphenyl-2H-tetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay, western blot, Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR), transwell assay, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry were conducted in this study. experiments revealed that BML-111 inhibited EMT and migration in CoCl-stimulated MCF-7 cells.
