Primary vulvar adenocarcinoma is a particularly rare tumor with poorly understood histogenesis and unclear clinical characteristics and prognosis. Vulvar adenocarcinoma of intestinal type (VAIt) is a very uncommon subtype of primary vulvar adenocarcinoma and only 27 cases have been described in the literature in the past. Of these cases, two have been described as human papillomavirus (HPV)-associated VAIt.
